Yolanda Okereke popularly known as Rani is a Fashion stylist/ Nollywood wardrobe consultant. Known for chic and simple styles, she has an impressive portfolio of clients like Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe Etim, DJ Jimmy Jatt , Monalisa Chinda, Ini Edo, Funke Kuti, Nikki Laoye, Desmond Eliot, Uche Jombo and so many others. Though born in Benin, Yolanda hails from Anambra state and has a background in chemical engineering. After many failed attempts at trying to get a job, she decided to turn her passion to profit and transform her hobby into her career.

She started her career as stylist in 2009 and apart from being just a Fashion stylist; she has been able to branch into other aspects of fashion which she finds more engaging and intriguing. Due to her love for Film/movies industry, her favorite job is as a Nollywood Wardrobe consultant and it involves bringing characters to life and depicting how they should be perceived. She has costumed and designed for many nollywood movies including Rita Dominic’s ‘The Meeting”, Monalisa Chinda’s drama series “Catwalk”, Emem Isong “The Weekend Getaway” amongst many others and to achieve this, the characterization has to be drawn, broken down and done.

Yolanda has risen to be one of the most sought after celebrity stylist and what distinguishes her is her drive for customer satisfaction because her ultimate fulfillment is when she sees a smile on the client’s face. Clients also appreciate her work for her simple style; Simplicity being the ultimate sophistication.
According to Yolanda, what it takes to be a stylist lies in being able to find your sixth sense and use it to achieve creativity in fashion. It’s also being able to present someone to be perceived by people because image is everything. As a stylist she believes the following items are elements for a good wardrobe for every lady- an LBD, a pair of jean, tank tops, a jewelry box of accessories and maxi dresses.
On her perspective about style, “Style is eternal; it’s not what you acquire or learn. She describes her personal style as the “Girl next door” who believes less is more and her signature look is Tee shirt and jeans.
